At Saxion, Pattern drafting was only given one quarter during the second year. During these 10 weeks, I learned the basics of pattern drafting. I drew skirts, trousers, leggings, hoodies, blouses, t-shirts and singlets. I used the techniques I learned during this course for the project Quality and Fit and for the course CAD (Lectra Modaris) during my minor in Ghent.
During my minor fashion technology in Ghent I followed the course: Patterndrafting 4. During this course we focussed on coats. I started with a toile of a fitted coat. After doing some adjustments, the second toile was good enough. During the rest of the semester, I made 5 more toiles with different sleeves and collars, among which: raglans, different kimonos,
Besides drawing patterns during this course, I drew patterns for the project Inspiring Designers and the course Prototyping too.
