During the second quather of the first year, one of the courses was Design & Styling. The goal of the course was to make a magazine with Photoshop. I had to analyse the trends of the next season (s/s 15) and to elaborate one of them with a moodboard, text, color schemes and a dessin. Another part of the assignment was to analyse the collections of Vivienne Westwood and to look for different collars, pockets, closures and silhouettes and appoit them. Other topics in the magazine had to be a museum visit, a paper about a couture house, I picked Chanel, a paper about fashionphotography, a fashion timeline 1900-present, a paper about a textile technique and a column about my perception of the future in 50 years.

The main theme in my magazine was minimalism, as I really like both this way of living and the fashiontrend. For the fashiontrends, I decided to pick 5 pictures of outfits per trend and cut them out with Adobe Photoshop. This was the leitmotiv throughout all trends, together with a small text and 1 or 2 decorative pieces.
During this assignment I discovered a passion for Adobe and creating digital images/pages. Currently, I like to work with Illustrator a lot, especially for making technical drawings and collection line-ups.
