For a Frisian Sport association, I was asked to design the new uniform with the new sponsors. Together with a member of the board, I created a design that met the sporters, sponsors and boards requirements and was different from the previous design.
Traditionally the leader of the classification gets a shirt in the Frisian Flag to show that he or she is the best in the category in Friesland. We honoured this tradition and created a new and upgraded design that included the flag. The shirt for the regular sporters has a blue base, due to dirt that comes of the pole when jumping. This blue matches the blue in the leaders shirt and both can be worn with the sporters’ black shorts. The base shirt is personal and consists of the number of the sporter on the back.
As a second option, the board can also choose to use different coloured t-shirts for different clubs. There are 6 clubs participating in the competition, which resulted in 6 different types of shirts (same design as the one with the blue base) in 6 different colour schemes.
