In Ghent during my minor Fashiontechnology, I worked on a project called Inspiring Designers. During this project we did research about the designer we chose. We analyzed the target group, previous themes, colour schemes, silhouettes and materials. Next, we picked trends which we translated into one theme: SAVAGE, which stands for nature, wild and cool. We created moodboards, a colours cheme and each member designed one outfit. For the silhouette, we all played with the contrast oversized and fitted. The top of my design was oversized at the top and fitted, like a corset, at the bottom. The inspiration for the top was a leaf, which has free, wild shapes and a bulky shape. The bottom was a pair of shorts which was a little bit oversized around the hip. The inspiration was a flower which has one petal in a different colour on top.
